About the Presenters:

Alyson Martin has been involved with the Sioux Hudson Entertainment Series in Sioux Lookout, ON since 1992. She sits on the Ontario Presents Board of Directors and is part of the Ontario Dances Program. Through connections such as these, a community engagement opportunity, Matters of the Heart, was made possible. She moved from Toronto 30 years ago, and with her partner, raised two beautiful daughters. By day, she works in the mental health field and by night, hatches plans with others, to bring audiences and artists together.

Annalee Adair works in the areas of cultural planning, public art, community engagement and cultural leadership. Annalee has worked with Ontario Presents as a community engagement coach and a contributor to the ArtsEngageCanada.ca, written on community engagement for ArtBridges, and presented at CAPACOA’s annual gathering. Adair has worked on a wide range of projects related to the power of community and culture in urban, rural and remote regions.
